At the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Annual Convention and EXPO – dubbed “Retail’s BIG Show” – January 15-17, Xerox will demonstrate to retailers from around the globe how print innovations and analytics can springboard more memorable, personalized retail experiences in-store, online and on mobile devices.

Xerox’s Direct to Object Printer will be featured in the NRF Innovation Lab (iLab), a hands-on experience where attendees can learn about and interact with products and technologies that inspire brands to innovate and customers to buy. The iLab focuses on 3D printing, artificial intelligence, robotics and wearable technologies.

In the iLab, Xerox will showcase digital printing technology that enables retailers to print directly on 3D objects like water bottles in a matter of minutes. By enabling quick personalization on-site, retailers can create a unique way to engage customers.

“According to Infosys, almost a third of consumers want more personalization in their shopping experiences1," said Kerry Sanders, senior vice president, Commercial Excellence, North America Operations, Xerox. “Our solutions allow retailers to capitalize on consumer personalization demands, reduce the cost of back office processes, and communicate and market their brand to current and potential consumers in more effective, targeted ways.”

Other Xerox technologies featured in its booth that help retailers better market themselves and communicate with customers include:

  • Xerox communications and marketing solutions: From collateral management and demand generation services, to multichannel communication and transactional print and mail services, these solutions help retailers improve customer interactions, increase brand recognition and analyze data to improve customer satisfaction and retention. For example, by using Xerox solutions, a large North American grocery chain reduced its creative costs by more than 30 percent while speeding campaign time-to-market by 30 percent.
  • The Xerox Workflow Automation Solution for HR Onboarding: Part of the Workflow Automation portfolio, this tool helps retailers create a simpler workflow stream for onboarding new employees. By reducing time and costs associated with onboarding, retailers can focus more on sales and interacting with customers.
  • Xerox digital printing solutions: Xerox digital printing solutions help retailers tap into new markets with unique marketing collateral like folding cartons for personalized packaging, cross-media direct-mail campaigns and short-run books to drive enhanced customer communications and retail experiences.

Xerox will be in booth #822 at NRF in New York.
